Engineering & webHandles the part that has to hold up: architecture, performance, and the code that turns a design into a fast, reliable product.
NovyTech is two people who met at university studying opposite ends of the same thing — and decided the gap between them was worth building a studio on.
We met at university. One of us was deep in a Game Design degree — worlds, models, lighting, the feel of a thing in motion. The other was studying Computer Science — systems, structure, the parts that have to actually work at three in the morning.
We kept ending up at the same table. Game design without engineering looks incredible in a screenshot and falls over the moment someone uses it. Engineering without design works perfectly and nobody wants to. The interesting work lived in the overlap, and almost nobody we knew was sitting in it.
So we started doing the overlap on purpose. A 3D scene that a real engine renders smoothly. A website that is genuinely beautiful and still loads in under a second on a train. NovyTech is the studio we wished existed when we were students — render-grade craft, engineered to ship.
The split is deliberate — the visual ambition of game design, built on real engineering.
Handles the part that has to hold up: architecture, performance, and the code that turns a design into a fast, reliable product.
Leads the visual and spatial side — modelling, lighting, and the real-time craft that makes a scene feel like somewhere, not just something.
No account managers, no relay race. The two people who build it are the two people you brief.
We refuse the trade-off between looking great and working well. Both, or it is not finished.
Plenty of studios start strong. We are measured on launch day and the weeks after it.
Tell us what you are making — a 3D experience, a new site, or you are not sure yet. We will tell you honestly what it takes and whether we are the right studio for it.
